An Odd outing: OU Lots, TCU Less

Related Topics: Outing

Generally when a game is described as “A tale of two halves”, it’s referring to the changes that occur literally at halftime- TCU had been riding a huge wave of great second half performances coming into this game, particularly with the defense not allowing a touchdown in the second half in seven straight games. In this game, however, the half of football was actually the first and third quarters, where OU seized momentum with huge plays on the possession after the opening kickoff of both halves. After holding the Sooners to a field goal on their opening possession, the Frogs had a disastrous first play with Hicks putting the ball on the ground on an outside zone play and getting it returned for a touchdown.
