1. The SEC and grad transfers

It's a good bet that people in Florida and Texas and elsewhere will be closely monitoring what happens at SEC spring meetings this week involving restrictions in the conference's graduate transfers rule. The 2017 destination of Notre Dame grad transfer quarterback Malik Zaire could be hanging in the balance. Reports indicate Zaire would prefer to go to Florida but he currently would be blocked by current SEC rules. A change would require a majority SEC vote that could give Florida an edge on the field next season.
