A trip to the Big Apple is more than just a shot at the NIT title for TCU

It's been a while since TCU's men's basketball team enjoyed postseason success.

With two more wins this week in New York City, the Horned Frogs could pick up a decent trophy that could represent a sign of progress for the team under first-year coach Jamie Dixon.

TCU (22-15) is one of four teams still left in the National Invitational Tournament. The Horned Frogs will face Central Florida (24-11) at 8 p.m. Tuesday in the NIT semifinals at Madison Square Garden. The winner will face Cal State Bakersfield (25-9) or Georgia Tech (20-15) in Thursday's championship game at MSG.
