Here are five thoughts following TCU Football's 63-0 win over Jackson State:
1. TCU's defense didn't look very good...then it became unstoppable.
TCU wanted to come out and prove that their defense should be feared once again. And if you ignore Jackson State's first drive, the Frogs did just that.
What a weirdly efficient first drive for JSU. The Tigers gained five first downs on only eight plays, driving the field all the way down to the TCU five. Luckily for the Frogs a failed fake punt and some penalties, including an intentional grounding call on JSU quarterback Brent Lyles, kept the Tigers out of the endzone.
