Here are five thoughts following TCU football's 45-22 win over Baylor:
Mat Boesen is a problem
The "so-and-so is a problem" saying is most often associated with college basketball. But it was equally applicable to TCU defensive end Mat Boesen on Friday vs. Baylor.
With Charlie Brewer having tremendous success in the passing game, Boesen seemed like the only player who could consistently stop him. Boesen tallied 5.5 sacks, a TCU record for sacks in a game, and also forced a fumble that was recovered by the Horned Frogs. Multiple sacks came on third down, snuffing out Baylor drives that could have resulted in points.
