TCU basketball is headed back to the NIT -- an event which the Horned Frogs won during their most recent appearance in 2017 -- after falling achingly short of an NCAA Tournament bid on Sunday.
TCU was slotted as a No. 1 seed in the tournament, drawing No. 8 seed Sam Houston State in the opening round. The Horned Frogs and Bearkats will tip-off at 8 p.m. CT Wednesday at Schollmaier Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. The game will be televised on ESPNU.
