TCU football didn’t have the year it initially envisioned with a 6-6 finish to the regular season, but that didn’t stop several Horned Frogs from exceeding expectations.
Whether it stemmed from self-determination, an unexpected chance to play in lieu of injured players or perhaps even a combination of both, here are five TCU players that went above and beyond this fall.
1. Garret Wallow, LB: While Wallow did see playing time in all 14 games as a freshman in 2017, his sophomore season proved to be his breakout campaign en route to 72 total tackles after recording just 8 one year ago.
