TCU basketball was in grasp of recording consecutive ranked-opponents for the first time in program history Monday night, but the Horned Frogs were unable to survive a wild overtime thriller vs. No. 14 Kansas in Fort Worth.
TCU rocketed out of the gate to an early 7-0 lead in the first two minutes of the game, and even after the Jayhawks roared back to go up by as much as 12 points in the second half, it didn’t stop the Horned Frogs from nearly scripting a stunning comeback with a 13-0 run to take a 69-65 lead into the final two minutes of play.
