The Tampa Bay Rays built upon their reputation for world class athlete care with the debut of a new Athlete Recover Room that utilizes technology from NormaTec, announcing the partnership via press release this afternoon.
NormaTec Recovery Systems are cutting edge compression systems that enhance the body’s natural ability to recover. Using NormaTec’s leg, arm, or hip attachments before or after intense workouts rejuvenates muscles and reduces tightness and soreness.
In addition to the home stadium recovery room, the Rays will be utilizing the same equipment on the road, as the technology is portable.
Joe Benge, Head Athletic Trainer of the Tampa Bay Rays, explained the partnership as saying: “Our goals are to keep players injury free and performing at their best year-round; the partnership with NormaTec helps us towards achieving those objectives.
