Prior to facing his former team on Wedneday, Tyler Glasnow has officially been named the starting pitcher for the Tampa Bay Rays on Opening Day when the team will take on the Marlins on Thursday, April 1st in Miami.
The 2021 season will mark Glasnow’s fourth season with the Rays since being acquired along with outfielder Austin Meadows at the 2018 trade deadline.
Glasnow has dominated opposing batters while as a member of the Rays, but has only pitched in a total of 24 regular season games over his three years with the club.
