This morning a Rays fan well known on twitter as Rays Nurse K passed after a well fought battle against cancer. This is terrible news, and has completely caught me off guard.
Among Rays fans she shone among the brightest, and now she’s gone. Life as a Rays fan will be worse today than it was in days before.
My thoughts this morning are with the family of my friend @RaysNurseK, as Karen's fight with cancer came to an end this morning. Prayers are with her husband John and everyone who has been touched by her wonderful spirit.
