The Tampa Bay Rays are reportedly selecting the contract of catcher Adam Moore, from the Triple-A Bulls. A corresponding 40-man roster move will be made prior to tonight’s game against the Miami Marlins.
Moore, 34, was a non-roster invitee to spring training this year for the Rays. He is a major league veteran, with 96 games spread across eight years spent with the Seattle Mariners, Kansas City Royals, San Diego Padres, and most recently with the Cleveland Indians in 2016. The bulk of his MLB experience came with the Mariners in 2010, when he played in 60 games.
