The Tampa Bay Rays offense finally came back to life during the game yesterday afternoon against the Toronto Blue Jays in Port Charlotte as they took him a 8-2 victory to snap a five game losing streak.
Some Notables
- Evan Longoria and Jake Bauers both had homers, while Casey Gillaspie had two of his own (from both sides of the plate). The Rays now have 22 HR this spring, which ties them for the 3rd most in the majors.
- The pitching for the Rays was also solid, with the exception of David Carpenter who yielded two runs on three hits during his inning of work.
