Given the spate of injuries that the Tampa Bay Rays have suffered through, it is difficult not to be impressed with their performance thus far. Without their projected starting catcher, shortstop, and a good portion of the bullpen, the Rays have still managed to hover around .500. That is a rather impressive accomplishment.
The Rays run to contention this year will be getting some needed help soon. Reinforcements for the offense are starting to get closer, as Wilson Ramos, Matt Duffy, and Brad Miller were on the field prior to the Rays game yesterday.
