If the Tampa Bay Rays were able to get through the first couple of months of the season, it was expected that they would have a chance to contend. They have done their part thus far, hovering around the .500 mark as the calendar has turned to June.
As good as the Rays have to feel given their record, they have to be looking forward to the coming month. Tampa Bay should have several reinforcements coming, as Wilson Ramos, Matt Duffy, and Brad Boxberger are expected to make their 2017 debuts. These players should certainly shore up some of the holes that the Rays currently have.
