Last night, the Tampa Bay Rays fell to the New York Yankees in a low scoring affair, with the final tally being 4-1 in favor of New York.
The Rays offense just could not figure out J.A. Happ, as they could only register one hit against him over seven innings. The Rays lone run came via a Willy Adames solo shot in the 8th inning. Joey Wendle and C.J. Cron were the only other Rays with hits on the night.
On the pitching side, Hunter Wood opened and allowed a run on three hits during his only inning of work.
