The Rays were able to bounce back a day after giving up two touchdowns and a field goal to Baltimore with a win to kick off this series with the Royals.
The deciding run in the game was a beautiful mess. it had it all:
- A base hit sharpley to an OF with a very strong arm
- Running through a stop sign
- Ball beating the runner by a country mile
- A ridiculously silly dodge and tag
Adeiny Hechavarria’s stutter pause with his hands was my favorite little mind game.
