Tampa Bay Rays Land Three Players on Florida State League All Star Team

Over the next month, a great deal of focus will be placed upon the MLB All Star Game. There will be plenty of discussion about those players who were snubbed, or those players who made the MidSummer Classic despite their comparatively subpar numbers. Here, in our corner of the blogosphere, we will focus on which members of the Tampa Bay Rays should have made the squad, and who actually went to Miami to represent the team.

Yet, while the focus is elsewhere, full season minor leagues are starting to name their All Star squads. The Florida State League, home of the Charlotte Stone Crabs, named their All Star teams yesterday, with three Rays prospects, Brandon Lowe, Jake Cronenworth, and Brett Sullivan, set to compete for the South squad.
