For the Tampa Bay Rays to match or surpass the 96 wins they compiled in 2019, they will need a bounce back season from a pair of pitchers that struggled with injuries and inconsistencies in 2019 after dominant 2018 seasons. They will also hope for a resurgence from a highly touted pitching prospect who has struggled to stay healthy the last two seasons.
Despite a number of injuries to pitchers before and throughout the season, the Rays staff finished as one of the best in the league. If all three of these pitchers can return to their best forms, the Rays staff is going to be amongst the best and most lethal in the game.
