The Orioles have agreed to a deal with the Rays for shortstop Tim Beckham, dealing Minor League pitcher Tobias Myers, a source told MLB.com's Brittany Ghiroli before Monday's non-waiver Trade Deadline.
The clubs haven't confirmed the agreement.
After losing the weekend series to the Yankees, the Rays will travel to Houston looking to right the ship against the American League West-leading Astros, with first pitch set for 8:10 p.m. ET on Monday.
"They're the best team in the American League," said Rays manager Kevin Cash of the Astros. "They pitch, they hit, they catch the ball.
