TORNTO -- Blake Snell was perfect in his second game since returning from the disabled list, but Rays manager Kevin Cash wouldn't let his ace pitch deep into the game.
Snell retired all 15 Blue Jays batters he faced Friday night at Rogers Centre, but was pulled prior to the sixth inning after throwing 47 pitches. He recorded six strikeouts and only allowed three balls to leave the infield.
Cash said prior to the game that he expected to use Snell for five or six innings, but after throwing 59 pitches in his last outing, Snell's exit was still a little surprising.
