ST. PETERSBURG -- The Rays have lost 11 straight games and have fallen 13 1/2 games out of first place in the American League East. They've allowed at least five runs in each of those losses and are four losses away from the worst losing streak in organizational history.
Still, president of baseball operations Matt Silverman isn't willing to give up on the season just yet.
"We're very dissatisfied, but we still think there's time to turn this thing around," Silverman said. "Our focus is on tonight. Our focus is on this series and this homestand. .
