Fresh off of a series split with the Houston Astros, the Tampa Bay Rays travel back home to Tampa where they’ll take on the other team from the Lone Star State, the Texas Rangers in a three game set.
The Rays enter play on Tuesday with a 30-29 record and have won seven of their last 10; they are 6.5 games back of the New York Yankees for the division lead and 2 games back in the Wild Card chase.
Meanwhile, the Rangers are 29-31 and have lost six of their last 10 games but they did just take two of three against the St Louis Cardinals.
