ANAHEIM -- For starters, Sergio Romo did just fine for the Rays.
Romo got his first start after 588 career relief appearances and pitched one pristine inning against the Angels on Saturday night. The 11-year veteran struck out the side, a trio of batters which included two-time MVP Mike Trout.
Lefty Ryan Yarbrough, who was lined up for the start, relieved Romo. Manager Kevin Cash tinkered with his pitching order, having the right-handed Romo in early to put a dent in the lineup.
