Robertson, Smith back Snell's gem vs. Texas

ST. PETERSBURG -- The Rays had a much-needed feel-good game Monday night in an 8-4 win over the Rangers at Tropicana Field.

Entering on a four-game losing streak, the Rays rushed out early in this one, scoring once in the first and four times in the second to take a 5-0 lead. They continued to add to their advantage with a run in the third and two in the fourth via solo homers by C.J. Cron and Daniel Robertson. Mallex Smith, starting his first game in center field since Kevin Kiermaier was placed on the 10-day disabled list, went 4-for-4.
