Rays All-Star C Wilson Ramos left Saturday's game with left hamstring tightness.
That could put in jeopardy his availability for Tuesday's All-Star game.
Ramos was voted the starter for the AL team, and has been very much looking forward to going back to Washington, where he played parts of seven seasons with the Nationals.
Ramos slowed noticeably running to first base after hitting a ground ball in his sixth inning at-bat. He earlier doubled in two runs, increasing his team-leading RBI total to 53.
As much as Ramos wtans to play in front of the Nationals fans, he is a free agent at the end of the season and it would not be wise to risk a further injury and extended absence.
