With the 24th pick of the MLB Draft, the Rays selected RHP Nick Bitsko. There’s been plenty of great coverage of Bitsko on the site already, and for even more Danny Russell and I decided to hop on for a special weekend edition of Rays Your Voice to talk about him.
Danny and I discuss Bitsko’s elite fastball and already very advanced breaking stuff, and wonder how in the world did the Rays get a pitcher of this caliber with the 24th pick. The selection was heralded by much of the national media, and we love the pick just as much as they do.
