Rays vs. Mariners lineups for Wednesday, seeking to avoid a sweep

ST. PETERSBURG — Having swept the Mariners last weekend in Seattle, the Rays are on the other side today, taking the field for today’s matinee trying to avoid being swept.

They feel they have the right man on the mound in Charlie Morton, who comes in leading the AL with a 2.77 ERA.

The Rays made one roster move already, sending down lefty Hoby Milner after he worked in relief on Tuesday and calling up (and adding to the 40-man roster) Aaron Slegers, the 6-10 righty who has previous big-league time with the Twins.
