BALTIMORE -- The Rays kept up their offensive attack Thursday night, scoring at least eight runs for a fifth straight game and extending their winning streak to six with a 9-5 victory over the Orioles at Camden Yards.
Tampa Bay took leads of 6-0 and 8-2 and extended its franchise mark for scoring at least eight runs in a game. The previous record had been three before this season.
The Rays (10-13) swept the rain-shortened two-game series and now head to Boston having scored 43 runs in these past five contests.
