When the Rays traded Evan Longoria, they received Denard Span, Christian Arroyo, Matt Krook, and Stephen Woods. Woods was originally drafted by the Rays in 2013, but he didn’t sign. He missed all of 2018 with a shoulder injury. Charlotte’s John Vittas has more on Jose De Leon and Woods Thursday.

Arturo Reyes was sharp in Durham’s 5-1 win over Lehigh Valley. Reyes had a rough outing in his Bulls debut, but he struck out a season-high 10 batters his second time out and only allowed a run on four hits and a walk in seven innings.
