On the day of the final game of the minor league season, here are the results from our final monthly player of the month polls:
Full-season player of the month went to Montgomery/Durham outfielder Justin Williams. His Triple-A stats won’t show up anywhere since it’s just been the postseason, but he will have a little experience at the level heading into 2018.
Princeton second baseman Trey Hair was the short-season player of the month. All season, he was one of Princeton’s biggest bats and did it at an up-the-middle position.
The full-season pitcher of the month was Charlotte lefty Travis Ott.
