I would guess the Rays were very interested in how Durham pitched Tuesday. Trevor Richards, Anthony Banda, and Jose Alvarado were among the pitchers the Bulls used to shut out Syracuse. They would probably love to see all three playing key roles in the majors in the final weeks of the season. It was Banda’s longest outing yet this season.
