David Olmedo-Barrera’s suspension was one of five announced by Major League Baseball Friday. In 40 games for Charlotte this season, he had a .282 on-base percentage and .668 OPS. He also hit a couple homers in big league spring training.

Durham erased a 4-0 deficit before falling to Buffalo by a 6-5 score. In the fifth, Nick Ciuffo doubled in a run, Willy Adames singled in another, and Brandon Lowe hit a three-run homer to give the Bulls a 5-4 lead. However, after striking out the first batter of the ninth, four straight batters reached against Ruben Alaniz, who eventually allowed a walk-off sacrifice fly.
