Charlotte's pitching was lackluster in their 14th loss of the season. Bowling Green had a strong game all-around with a resounding win as they head into an off day.
Triple-A Durham Bulls (13-17)
Despite 11 hits, it took Durham equally as many innings to secure a 2-1 win over the Norfolk Tides. Dayron Varona hit a walk-off double to drive in the winning run. Jake Goebbert drove in the other Bulls run with an RBI double in the seventh. Starter Austin Pruitt was pulled early after only three innings of work.
