I admit I was skeptical of Tristan Gray starting the season with Charlotte, but the versatile hitter acquired in the Corey Dickerson trade turned his season around after a slow start. He leads the Florida State League with 35 doubles, and he had his second three-double game of the season Tuesday. Josh Lowe is tied for second in the league with 25.

Durham held on for a 6-5 win over Lehigh Valley. In the sixth, Adam Moore hit an RBI double, and Micah Johnson drove in two to give the Bulls a 6-1 lead, but the IronPigs scored three in the eighth.
