Montgomery was crushed by Jackson, 9-1, which evens the series at one game each. The Generals scored four runs in the third, but Lucius Fox’s sacrifice fly in the bottom half of the inning kept the game in reach. However, Jackson scored five times over the final three innings to pull away.
