ST. PETERSBURG -- The Rays annual Pride Night Friday night is sold out.
The 7:10 p.m. game against the Giants has been dedicated to the victims of Sunday's mass shooting in Orlando.
Tuesday morning the Rays put all open seats to the game on sale for $5 with 100 percent of the proceeds benefitting the Pulse Victims Fund (gofundme.com/PulseVictimsFund), set up for the families of the victims.
"We are grateful for and proud of the region's response to our Pride Night dedication," said Rays President Brian Auld. "In the wake of a terrible tragedy, and in a matter of hours, 40,000 people have chosen to come together, to stand side by side in a show of support for the victims, their families, the City of Orlando and the greater LGBT community.
