BRADENTON, Fla. -- That Matt Duffy won't be with the Rays at the beginning of season is a known fact. Colby Rasmus' status remains to be determined.
Given those two situations, Rays manager Kevin Cash told reporters he didn't know "if anything's gone as planned" this spring.
"Simply because of the Duffy situation," Cash said. "And we're still waiting for when we can get Colby out on the field. But that's part of it.
"If there's one thing we've learned probably the last couple of springs, you've got to be able to adjust on some guys not being quite ready to start on Opening Day.
