BALTIMORE -- The Rays continued their recent hot hitting and extended their winning streak to five with an 8-4 victory over the Orioles on Wednesday night.
Tampa Bay (9-13) now has scored at least eight runs in a fourth straight game, the first time in team history the Rays have done that. The Rays got five of those runs against former teammate Alex Cobb (0-3), four of which came in the fifth inning when Tampa Bay turned the game around and took a 5-3 lead.
The Rays finished with 14 hits, and 10 came against Cobb.
