Rays' offense continues to struggle in 6-0 loss to Indians

ST. PETERSBURG -- The Rays lost 6-0 to the Indians on Thursday in afternoon with a performance that drew a few rounds of boos from the crowd of 10,715 at Tropicana Field.

The Rays managed only five hits, with two of them coming in the ninth inning.

Chris Archer was not sharp again, allowing three runs/two earned in 5 1/3 innings. He lost for the third time this season. Archer is now 0-6 in his last nine starts dating back to the beginning of September.

Cleveland starter Danny Salazar allowed three hits in six innings and earned his second win of the year.
