ST. PETERSBURG — The Rays begin a six-game homestand tonight with the Orioles that ends with three games against the Tigers. All three teams are trying to get back in playoff races, and all three are under .500.
After a less-than-stellar road trip, the Rays return to Tropicana Field, the building that has not been kind to them this season but also where they swept the Astros during their last homestand before the All-Star break.
“We just got to win now, regardless home or away, and I think the guys in the clubhouse, they know that,” manager Kevin Cash said.
