ST. PETERSBURG — LHP Matt Moore might make his final start of 2015 tonight when the Rays face the Marlins in the first game of their final homestand. Moore said he would like to get one more start, but manager Kevin Cash said the rotation has not been set for the weekend series with the Blue Jays.
Moore would like to make two starts so he can build up his innings heading into 2016 and so he can continue to build his confidence heading into the offseason.
After going 1-3 with an 8.78 ERA during his first six starts this season since returning from Tommy John surgery, Moore is 1-1 with a 3.
