ST. PETERSBURG — Rays CF Kevin Kiermaier and 2B Logan Forsythe were still a little banged up Saturday, one day after they collided in shallow right field while chasing a fly ball. And for that reason, neither was in the lineup against the White Sox.
“I think it makes the most sense for both of them to try and get the day (off), but both of them are going to be available if we need them,” manager Kevin Cash said before the game. “They came in feeling better probably even than we anticipated, so that was good to see.
