BOSTON — Saturday’s game in Toronto will feature the pitching matchup of Blue Jays LHP David Price and Rays RHP Chris Archer — the mentor against the mentee.
The marquee matinee matchup, however, will not be televised. It is one of the games not on the Sun Sports broadcast schedule this season.
Price, traded July 30 from Detroit to Toronto, is 8-1 with a 1.95 ERA in 10 starts since joining the first-place Blue Jays.
This will be Price’s second start of the season against the Rays. On July 28, he allowed seven hits and five runs in six innings in a 10-2 loss at Tropicana Field during his final start with the Tigers.
