ST. PETERSBURG — The nearly nightly perfect game disappeared in the sixth inning Tuesday when the Rays drew a walk and got a hit, a double at that by Curt Casali.
But the suspense remained: Would the Rays score a run?
They would.
But not nearly as many as they needed.
The Cleveland Indians, blanked in both ends of a doubleheader Sunday in Baltimore, rolled to their second straight win with a 6-2 victory in front of 10,437 at Tropicana Field.
The loss was the seventh in the last nine games for the Rays.
