Rays knock out Price early, top Red Sox 12-8

BOSTON -- The Rays won a wild one Thursday afternoon at Fenway Park, beating the Red Sox 12-8 to win back-to-back series for the first time this season.

Eramso Ramirez picked up the win in relief for his fourth victory of the season.

The Rays went ahead 9-8 in the eighth inning when Steven Souza Jr., doubled off the wall in left-center field to score Desmond Jennings.

Logan Forsythe drove in an insurance run in the ninth inning with his third hit of the day. Corey Dickerson, hitting for Steve Pearce, drove in the final two runs with a double.
