Rays go back-to-back-to-back in 4-HR inning

ST. PETERSBURG -- Things were looking pretty gloomy for the Rays, down by six runs with two outs and no one on in the third inning against the Yankees on Wednesday night at Tropicana Field.

Then Evan Longoria hit one in the first row of the left-field bleachers. Brad Miller used the next at-bat to sky a ball past the fair side of the foul pole in right field. On the next pitch, Corey Dickerson crushed a homer to dead center.

All of a sudden it was a three-run game, and just the third time in franchise history that the Rays had hit back-to-back-to-back home runs.
