NEW YORK -- Brett Gardner homered off Erasmo Ramirez in the bottom of the ninth inning as the Yankees celebrated their first walk-off victory of the season, posting a 3-2 win over the Rays on Saturday at Yankee Stadium.
Andrew Miller picked up the victory with a scoreless top half of the ninth. Masahiro Tanaka started and held the Rays to two runs and five hits over seven innings; Corey Dickerson lined a run-scoring double off Tanaka in the fourth inning and Kevin Kiermaier clanged a solo home run off the right-field foul pole in the fifth inning.
