Charlotte moved within one game of its first championship with a 6-1 win over Daytona in Game 2. Once again, the Tortugas were baffled by a Stone Crabs starter, this time Buddy Borden. He retired the first nine in order before allowing Daytona's lone run in the fourth, but he settled back in immediately and faced the minimum over the rest of his outing.
