Durham used three early home runs to earn a 7-1 win over Columbus. Nick Franklin's solo shot in the first gave the Bulls a 1-0 lead, and J.P. Arencibia added one of his own an inning later. With two outs in the second, Hak-Ju Lee's two-run home run put Durham up four. Starter Everett Teaford was solid, allowing just a run on four hits and three walks in 5 1/3 innings with five strikeouts, and Parker Markel struck out three in 2 2/3 perfect innings.
